Actor Michael Clarke Duncan, the miraculous mountain of muscle died Monday in Los Angeles after a massive heart attack he suffered in July.
The 6-foot-5, 325 lb actor appeared in dozens of films, including box office hits, ‘Armageddon’, ‘Planet of the Apes’, ‘Kung Fu Panda’ and the Oscar-nominated film ‘The Green Mile’.
Astronaut Neil Armstrong, who became the first to walk on the moon as commander of Apollo 11, has died. He was 82 years old.
On July 20, 1969, half a billion people (a sixth of the world’s population at the time) watched a ghostly black-and-white television image as Armstrong backed down the ladder of the lunar landing ship Eagle, planted his left foot on the moon’s surface, and said, “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.”

Ron Palillo, who played Horshack on the hit 1970s sitcom “Welcome Back, Kotter,” died this morning at his home from an apparent heart attack, He was 63.
Sherman Hemsley, the actor who made the character George Jefferson famous in “The Jeffersons,” has died of natural causes at his home in El Paso, Texas. He was 74.

The Queen of Disco, Donna Summer died at the age of 63 following a battle with cancer.
Summer was a 5-time Grammy winner who shot to superstardom in the ’70s with iconic hits including “Last Dance”, “Hot Stuff” and “Bad Girls”.
